via Khmer Times, 6 May 2022: Still a far cry from pre-pandemic levels, but we should expect these numbers to rise for the foreseeable future.
For the first four months of 2022, Angkor Wat has attracted 33,205 visitors, an increase of 622 percent compared to the same time last year.
Revenue from ticket sales is expected to top $1.35 million between January and April, according to a statement from the Angkor Company Enterprise.
In April alone, Angkor Wat was visited by 13,365 foreign visitors and earned $537,000 from ticket sales.
