via Bangkok Post, 02 March 2022: The Bangkok Expressway and Metro is organising a series of historic tours around Bangkok to showcase the sites in the old town.
A new quintet of historical tours has been launched beginning from each of the five subway stations in the old town area, where a number of sites rich in culture and history are located, according to the Bangkok Expressway and Metro (BEM).
The Mass Rapid Transit Authority (MRTA) has joined hands with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the BEM to promote the sites near the MRT Blue Line stations of Wat Mangkon, Sanam Chai, Sam Yan, Hua Lamphong and Itsaraphap.
