via Bangkok Post, 08 November 2023: The Phi Hua To cave, located in Thailand’s Ao Luk district within Than Bok Khorani National Park, has been closed indefinitely following a 4.8-magnitude earthquake centered in northern Sumatra. The quake caused small rockfalls and cracks within the cave, prompting the park chief, Siriwat Suebsai, to announce the closure for visitor safety. This precautionary measure reflects the ongoing assessment of the cave’s structural integrity post-earthquake. h/t Caving Liz.
