via Khmer Times, 26 October 2022: Ongoing repairs to the Angkor Wat causeway.
Apsara Authority officials have started repairing the embankment in the south of Angkor Wat’s causeway, retaining its original form after repairing the north and west embankment.
Apsara Authority said yesterday that it has started restoring the 25-metre long embankment which is in a state of disrepair and collapse.
Regarding this issue, Apsara spokesman Long Kosal said yesterday that the repair of the south embankment is the third step of total renovation efforts at the causeway, the first and second phases being in the north and west.
