Thai Museums Day 2020 celebrations

via The Nation, 16 September 2020: Article is in Thai – September 19 is Thai Museums Day and there is a series of activities around museums in Thailand to commemorate the event, e.g. from 16-18 the National Museum in Bangkok is hosting a Night at the Museum with performances and visits to the exhibition halls (if you follow me on Instagram you can see some scenes from yesterday’s event). All of the events seem to be in Thai.

นายประทีป เพ็งตะโก อธิบดีกรมศิลปากร เปิดเผยว่า ตามที่คณะรัฐมนตรี ได้มีมติเห็นชอบให้ วันที่ 19 กันยายน ของทุกปี เป็นวันพิพิธภัณฑ์ไทย กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม โดยกรมศิลปากร ในฐานะหน่วยงานของรัฐที่ได้รับมอบหมายให้ดำเนินงานด้านพิพิธภัณฑ์ ซึ่งปัจจุบันมีพิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ จำนวน 41 แห่งทั่วประเทศ จัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในโอกาสดังกล่าวอย่างต่อเนื่องเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยในปีนี้ กรมศิลปากรได้จัดกิจกรรมภายใต้แนวคิด “พิพิธภัณฑ์สนุก ทันสมัย เข้าถึงได้ Learning by Playing” ณ พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ พระนคร โดยแบ่งเป็น 3 กิจกรรม ได้แก่
