via Khmer Times, 11 July 2024: The APSARA National Authority and Germany have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to continue their cooperation in temple conservation and restoration, particularly within the Angkor Archaeological Park. This renewed partnership, marked by a ceremony on July 9, 2024, underscores the importance of international collaboration in preserving Cambodia’s cultural heritage. Germany has been instrumental in past conservation efforts, providing technical expertise and resources.
In what he termed a significant step towards preserving Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage, Director General of the Apsara National Authority (ANA) Hang Peou signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Germany to continue cooperation in the field of temple conservation and restoration.
