Pakar prasejarah senior sekaligus kepala lembaga Centre for Prehistory and Austronesian Studies, Prof Truman Simanjuntak menyebut koleksi fosil di Museum Patiayam merupakan hasil jerih payah warga.
Hal ini lantaran, fosil-fosil tersebut sebagian besar ditemukan warga dan disumbangkan ke museum secara cuma-cuma.
Pernyataan tersebut diungkapkan Prof Truman Simanjuntak saat menjadi pembicara di acara Jelajah Patiayam di kawasan Museum Patiayam pada Sabtu (20/1/2024).
