via Khmer Times, 03 February 2024: The China-Cambodia team dedicated to safeguarding Angkor handed over 227 boxes of artifacts to the Apsara Authority, including pottery fragments and sandstone sculptures from Chao Say Tevoda and Takeo temples, discovered during restoration efforts.
The China-Cambodia Government Team for Safeguarding Angkor (CCSA) on January 24, 2024 handed over 227 boxes of artifacts which found during the research and restoration of Chao Say Tevtatemple from 1998-1999 and in 2012 and Takeo temple from 2012 to 2015 to the ApsaraNational Authority to keep.
According to Apsara National Authority issued on February 2, 2024, most of the artifacts are fragments of pottery and some sandstone sculptures, of which 35 boxesare from Chao Say Tevtatemple which contained 292 artifacts.
There are 95cases from Takeo temple with 808objects and another 147 cases from Chao Say Tevta temple and Takeo temples but they just small pieces of artifacts which made it difficult to determine the shape of the object.
