via Khmer Times, 25 January 2024: The Apsara National Authority has successfully concluded the restoration of Ta Prohm Kel Temple, ensuring its preservation for future generations. The project, divided into research and reconstruction phases, addressed structural issues and restored the temple’s central tower.
After spending many months, the Apasara National Authority has recently completed the restoration of Ta Prohm Kel Temple for the benefit of future generations.
Mao Sokny, Head of Ta Prohm Kel Restoration Site and Architect of the Department of Conservation of Monuments and Preventive Archaeology said that the process of restoring Ta Prohm Kel Temple was divided into two phases, the first stage, we conducted research that studied the layout, and excavation.
In the second phase, which started from March to December 2023, we completed the restoration work to make the temple structure stronger, which used to be tilted and often supported.
