via Khmer Times, 17 and 18 January 2024: The APSARA National Authority has enhanced the Angkor site’s eco-tourism appeal by constructing a new bicycle bridge near Takeo Temple, part of over 23 kilometers of bike tracks.
The Apsara National Authority has constructed a bicycle bridge alongside the Takeo Temple Bridge to facilitate cycling at the Angkor site.Sok Soseila, Deputy Director of the Department of Water, Forestry, and Infrastructure Management of the Apsara National Authority, said that the authority initiated the construction of bicycle paths at the Angkor site in 2020 to assist the experience for cycling tourists.The bicycle paths within the Angkor site span over 23 kilometres in total, including four bridges
