The U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh has announced the 2024 Cultural Property Agreement Implementation Grant Program (CPAIG). This program, established in 2020, aims to support the implementation of cultural property agreements and combat trafficking. It focuses on various activities such as training, capacity building, creating secure inventories, site protection, and public education for crime prevention. The program encourages projects that address clear needs in Cambodia or the region and promotes collaboration between governments and the private sector. Eligible implementers include non-commercial entities like NGOs, museums, and educational institutions. The total funding is estimated at $500,000, with individual awards ranging from $10,000 to $150,000. Deadline for the first round is 1 Jan 2024.
