Preah Vihear Sees Record Tourist Numbers During Pchum Ben Festival

via Khmer Times, 16 October 2023: During last week’s Pchum Ben festival, Preah Vihear province in Cambodia welcomed 20,349 tourists, marking a 50% increase compared to the same period last year. While the majority were national tourists, the number of international visitors dipped slightly. Popular destinations included Preah Vihear temple, Koh Ker temple, and Preah Nimith waterfall.

During the three days of the Pchum Ben festival from October 13–15, 2023, Preah Vihear province received a total of 20,349 national and international tourists, an increase of more than 50% compared to the same period in 2022.
