The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) has an opening for an Antiquities Trafficking Analyst. In this position, under the supervision of the Chief of the Unit and a lead prosecutor, the analyst is responsible for providing critical analytical support to the unit and DANY. The analyst will engage in a broad spectrum of activities, to include writing warrants and legal reports; gathering information via subpoenas, search warrants, and interviews; and performing high-level analysis in order to assist in the criminal prosecution of trafficking participants such as looters/thieves, smugglers, financiers, shippers, gallery owners, restorers, on-line sites, conservators, auction houses, museum curators, and other facilitators, whether individuals or corporations, that allow trafficking to exist.
