via Phnom Penh Post, 18 November 2022: The 19th century palace is one of the main tourist attractions in Phnom Penh.
Visitors will be welcome at the Royal Palace once again starting in December after a two-year closure of the iconic historic and cultural site due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Minister of the Royal Palace Kong Sam Ol informed Minister of Tourism Thong Khon of the reopening via an official letter on November 17.
The palace has been closed since March 18, 2020 after the first few cases of Covid-19 in Cambodia were detected.
