The largest archaeology conference for the Asia-Pacific region kicks off today in Chiang Mai, and I’m here on official duties for SEAMEO SPAFA and as a member of the conference’s academic committee. Among other things, I’m helping out with a pre-conference workshop, co-chairing the rock art and megaliths panel on Friday, and running the SPAFA post-conference excursion the week after. It’s going to be a hectic week!
