ANA promoting lesser known temples

via Phnom Penh Post, 15 August 2022: The Apsara Authority is working on a plan to promote the less-visited temples to encourage visitors to stay longer.

The APSARA National Authority (ANA) is promoting many small temples in Siem reap province which are yet to be discovered by tourists.

The ANA has been improving infrastructure and increasing advertisements through tourism-related businesses to make them more widely known.

ANA spokesman Long Kosal told The Post on August 15 that many of the smaller temples in the province were unknown to tourists, so the ANA was building parking lots and roads to these locations to make them more accessible.

It is also working on the temples themselves, making sure that they were safe for tourists.
