via Khmer Times, 05 April 2022: The Apsara Authority is restoring an Angkorian-period bridge.
Professionals from a department of the APSARA Authority are in the process of repairing the ancient Ta Ong Bridge.
The Ta Ong Bridge was built during the Angkorian period and was currently in decline. This is the second phase of renovation, which started on the beginning of April and will last until August. The renovation was being funded by the APSARA Authority.
Renovation of the foundation of this ancient bridge is being done in order to strengthen the structure of the bridge maintain durability, especially to facilitate the flow of people.
