via Khmer Times, 18 January 2022: The “tour” is the route that tourists will take when visiting the Bayon, which stops the temple from being overcrowded and controls the flow of traffic.
The APSARA Authority launched a new tour at Bayon Temple to facilitate the flow of tourists in the temple and avoid overcrowding.
The Deputy Director of the Angkor Tourism Development Department of the APSARA Authority, Seng Sotheara, said that the new Bayon Temple tour will organize the flow of tourists to avoid overcrowding at the location to avoid Covid-19 transmission. The Deputy Director added that the organization of the tour also aims to make tourists aware of the importance and history of the cultural site.
