via Khmer Times, 20 May 2021: An update to repairs being done at Banteay Srei.
Apsara Authority experts have so far repaired 50 percent of the entrance to the east of Banteay Srei Temple, Siem Reap province, in an effort to restore it to its former glory.
Long Kosal, spokesman and deputy chief of Apsara, told Khmer Times yesterday that due to age, changes in nature, combined with other factors, the magnificent Banteay Srei Temple has suffered from severe damage and dilapidation.
Kosal said that in order to save Banteay Srei Temple, Apsara Authority’s technicians have already repaired damage in many places.
