via Khmer Times, 09 April 2021: Apsara Authority conducted repairs to a reservoir in Angkor Wat.
Apsara Authority has started excavation works to repair and restore the ancient “Trapaing Ses” reservoir in front of Angkor Wat temple, to add to the area’s beauty in order to attract more tourists.
Apsara spokesman Long Kosal said that Trapaing Ses is located around 30 metres north of Angkor Wat temple and was constructed in the 12th century.
Kosal said that excavation began on March 1 and is expected to be completed at the end of May.
