via Khmer Times, 24 February 2021: A very welcome effort to sort waste in the Angkor Archaeological Park.
Apsara Authority, in collaboration with Coca Cola, will launch a pilot project on processing waste in the Angkor Temple complex, aiming to reduce pollution.
The project will be implemented in the complex of Angkor Wat Temple first, said Apsara spokesman Long Kosal.
Under the project, waste will be classified to make it easy to manage and transport, Kosal said.
Vendors selling in the Angkor Archeological Park complex and people visiting the temple throw away waste without classifying it, he said.
