Benda purbakala bermunculan di Danau Sentani, Kabupaten Jayapura, Provinsi Papua.
Surutnya air Danau Sentani membuat benda-benda purbakala berupa tinggalan megalitik yang berada dalam air mulai muncul di permukaan air dan terlihat jelas.
Peneliti Balai Arkeologi Papua, Hari Suroto menyebutkan benda-benda megalitik ini sebelumnya sempat dikhawatirkan hilang atau tergeser posisinya akibat banjir bandang yang melanda Sentani pada Maret 2019.
