Applications are being sought from students interested in pursuing a four-week intensive programme of study including archaeological laboratory analysis, visits to archaeological sites and museums, and lectures. Financial assistance with travel expenses and a stipend to help cover daily living expenses will be provided.

Applicants for the programme should be enrolled in a postgraduate programme or in their final year of undergraduate study. Preferred fields of specialization include archaeology, history, and art history. They should be citizens of East Asia Summit (EAS) countries. The 17 East Asia Summit countries are: Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Laos, Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, Russia, and the United States.
