via Khmer Times, 22 February 2024: The Apsara National Authority conducted an internal workshop on February 21, 2024, to enhance the implementation of the environmental management system at the Angkor site. Aimed at promoting environmental protection awareness among its 100 officials and featured presentations on Angkor’s environmental significance, forest cover, tree distribution, and the role of APSARA officials in preserving the site’s cultural and environmental integrity.
Apsara National Authority held an internal workshop on the implementation of the environmental management system for the Angkor site to promote the booklet on the Angkor environmental management system, as well as to understand and participate in protecting the environment in Angkor to its 100 officials on 21 February 2024.
This workshop was presided over by Sok Leakena, representative of Hang Peou, Director General of APSARA National Authority.
