via Niaga.Asia, 21 October 2023: On October 20, 2023, the Cosmological Axis of Yogyakarta, along with its Historic Landmarks, was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, in a ceremony attended by various dignitaries. The title was bestowed during the 45th Extended Session of the World Heritage Committee held in September 2023. Article is in Bahasa Indonesia.
Direktur Jenderal Kerja Sama Multilateral Kementerian Luar Negeri RI, Tri Tharyat, telah menerima sertifikat penetapan Cosmological Axis of Yogyakarta and its Historic Landmarks sebagai Warisan Dunia (World Heritage) UNESCO pada 20 Oktober 2023.
Penyerahan ini dilakukan oleh Duta Besar RI untuk Prancis, Andorra, Monako/Delegasi Tetap Republik Indonesia untuk UNESCO, Mohamad Oemar. Turut hadir dalam kesempatan ini adalah Wakil Delegasi Tetap RI untuk UNESCO, Prof. Ismunandar, serta Direktur Sosial Budaya dan OINB, Penny D. Herasati.
Penetapan Cosmological Axis of Yogyakarta atau Sumbu Filosofi Yogyakarta diputuskan pada Sidang Extended 45th Session of the World Heritage Committee (WHC) UNESCO di Riyadh, Arab Saudi, pada 10-25 September 2023.
