For more than two decades, a team of experts from the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage has been busy restoring the Angkor relics, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Cambodia. They’ve successfully helped restore two temples and are currently working on the Royal Palace. A Chinese engineer working on the program shares his experience with reporter Feng Yilei.

Over the course of the past three decades, Chinese experts have helped to restore the ancient relics of Angkor in Cambodia. The story dates back to 1993, when Cambodia and UNESCO launched an international campaign aimed at preserving the relics. China was one of the first nations to join. Reporter Wu Bin visits Siem Reap, home to the iconic Angkor Wat, and speaks to those involved in the efforts.
