via Daily Express, 18 September 2023: The Oath Stone in Sabah, Malaysia, serves as a significant historical and cultural artifact, symbolizing the formation of Malaysia and the state’s autonomy.
The Oath Stone at the Keningau Heritage Museum has the potential to attract tourists from within and outside the country as it holds rich history, said Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G Kitingan.
The State Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Minister said it is also an important reference for the intelligentsia to analyse the formation of Malaysia.
“The Keningau Oath Stone is a great historical and physical proof of the agreement of the people in the interior in the formation of this country with the merger of Sabah, Sarawak, Singapore and Malaya.
