via Phnom Penh Post, 04 August 2023: A group of 90 Japanese students from Junior Chamber International visited Preah Vihear Temple in Cambodia to learn about its history and discover the area’s magnificent architecture. The visit also aimed to promote peace, education, and support community development in the region.
A group of 90 students from Japan’s Junior Chamber International (JCI) and Cambodian students visited Preah Vihear Temple on August 3 to learn more about the history of the area. The visit was led by JCI representative Lim Houng.
The National Authority of Preah Vihear said on August 4 that the visit was organised to educate the Japanese students about the value of peace, education and show them the living condition of Cambodian students along the borders, as well as to discover more about the magnificent architecture of Preah Vihear Temple on Dangrek Mountain.
