via Khmer Times, 12 July 2023: The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia and the Cambodia-China Culture and Tourist Industry Promotion Association have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to enhance cultural and tourism exchanges between the two countries, leading to significant development opportunities, increased international recognition, and the injection of new vitality into Cambodia’s culture and tourism industry.
Cambodia-China Culture and Tourist Industry Promotion Association, as an industry exchange promotion organization for Cambodia and China’s culture and tourist industries, will actively participate in the organization and promotion of future Cambodian culture and tourist activities with the help of its strong resource reserves and rich professional experience. The Association will inject new vitality and economic growth into Cambodia’s culture and tourist industry by holding various cultural and artistic performances, business forums, and folk cultural exchange activities.
At the signing ceremony, Her Excellency Pen Moni Makara, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia and Oknha Deng Pibing, Chairman of the Cambodia-China Culture and Tourist Industry Promotion Association jointly stated that the signing of this Memorandum will promote the development of Cambodia’s culture and tourist industry into a new stage, and further strengthen the close cooperative relationship between Cambodia and China in the field of cultural exchanges and tourism cooperation. This move will enable Cambodia to better publicize and promote its unique historical and cultural heritage and excellent ecological environment, and attract more international tourists to experience it
