- MSc/Diploma in Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, Archaeology, Archaeological Sciences, Paleobiology or relevant discipline
- Experience in the application of palaeoproteomic or palaeogenetic methods and familiarity and strong interest in the prehistoric/Palaeolithic record of Europe and Asia
- Familiarity with major bioinformatic tools and wet-chemistry protocols used in ancient protein and DNA research
- Willingness to travel and work as part of an international team
