via Khmer Times, 16 May 2023: The APSARA National Authority and Urban Living Solutions Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding to study and preserve the ancient road from Phnom Bakheng to the Rolous area, aiming to enhance the preservation of the Angkor site and encourage private sector involvement through public-private partnerships.
The APSARA National Authority has plans to study and preserve the ancient road from the front of Phnom Bakheng to Rolous area of Prasat Bakong district.
In order to implement this project, on May 15, the heads of APSARA National Authority led by Dr. Hang Peou, Director General of APSARA National Authority participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding with Urban Living Solutions Company led by Kean Kimleang, CEO of Urban Living Solutions Company to preserve and enhance the ancient road from the front of Phnom Bakheng to the Rolous area.
