via Phnom Penh Post, 12 August 2022: Excavations at the northeast corner of Preah Vihear.
Archaeologists at the National Authority for Preah Vihear on August 11 began excavating the fifth gate at the Northeast corner of Preah Vihear Temple to research the technical aspects of the foundation of the gate.
The Authority said today that the archaeological excavation work kicked off with a ceremony held under the auspices of Ear Darith, director of preservation and archaeology at the National Authority for Preah Vihear.
