Indian Ambassador to Cambodia Dr. Devyani Uttam Khobragade yesterday visited the 5th Gopura Conservation Study at the Preah Vihear Temple in Cambodia-Thai-Border in Preah Vihear province.
Preah Vihear National Authority spokesman Long Sopheak said today that during the visit, the Ambassador and the Indian delegates were briefed on the 5th Gopura Conservation study project by Professor Pheng Sam Oeun who is the deputy director-general of the National Authority Preah Vihear and the Director of Department of Preah Vihear National Authority.
He added that the Ambassador also discussed with the Preah Vihear National Authority team about the project and the need to repair the 5th Gopura.
