Villagers told to protect old temples

via Khmer Times, 01 October 2021: The National Authority for Preah Vihear reporting on their attempts to engage the community to preserve local heritage and archaeological sites.

The National Authority for Preah Vihear has called on villages not to build illegal structures very close to ancient temples but rather join with the authorities to protect, preserve and conserve them for future generations.

During the 6th technical session held on Wednesday, the National Authority team showcased the works progress being embarked to protect the old Preah Vihear temple and Koh Ker site where the stone wall collapsed.
