via The Nation, 03 September 2020: A short story about a prehistoric jar and bones discovered in Surin. The context is unclear, but it doesn’t look like the bones were deposited in the jar.
The Fine Arts Department yesterday (September 2) excavated and retrieved antiques that locals discovered in Surin province on Saturday.
The antiques included a jar and human bones in Sikhoraphum district.
Muay Maichai, 60, the first person who stumbled upon the items, said she always visited the area. On Saturday, she saw a part of the jar sticking out from under the soil, so she decided to dig it up. Later, she discovered human bones nearby.
