Penelitian Balai Arkeologi Papua di kawasan Danau Sentani bagian barat, Kampung Dondai, Distrik Waibu, Kabupaten Jayapura, menemukan cangkang moluska laut bivalvia family verenidae dan family arcidae.
“Cangkang moluska ini didapatkan pada singkapan tanah yang tergerus air hujan di lereng Bukit Yomokho,” kata arkeolog Hari Suroto, Jumat, 25 Oktober 2019.
Selain cangkang moluska laut, di tempat yang sama juga ditemukan cangkang siput Danau Sentani (Angulyagra tricostata), pecahan gerabah, alat serpih, fragmen kapak batu, alat serpih dan tulang manusia.
