via ICOM: The ICOM International Training Centre for Museum Studies is organising a workshop in Jiangxi province, China on sustainability in museum management. Open to international and Chinese participants, with grants available for applicants. Deadline is 19 July 2024.
In this 15th edition of the training programme, the workshop will delve into the critical theme of sustainability in museum management, exploring the challenges faced by museums at the local level and showcasing best practices from around the globe. International and Chinese participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and case studies aimed at fostering innovative solutions and promoting sustainable practices within their institutions.
The programme will follow the ICOM-ITC training method, which combines practice and theory with lectures, group work, discussions, and visits to local museums.
