via Da Nang Today, 20 Sep 2023: The Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture recently hosted an academic event showcasing Dong Duong Buddhist art as part of an educational series aimed at students studying history, culture, architecture, and tourism.

This was the second event in a series of activities under the museum education programme themed ‘Learning about Champa religious art’ for students majoring in history, culture, architecture, and tourism in the city in 2023.

To mark this occasion, the museum opened a special display space for participating lecturers and students to admire the statues of Bodhisattva Tara and Ganesha. These are two of the six national treasures being kept at the museum, as well as two original artifacts related to the Dong Duong Buddhist art.
