via Khmer Times, 01 September 2023: The Apsara National Authority is implementing projects to enhance visitor experience at lesser-known temples within the Angkor Archaeological Park.
One recently completed project involves trimming back tree branches to improve the vista of the gorgeous but lesser-known Krol Ko temple.
For this project, the Aspara Department of Tourism Development and Culture cut some branches at the entrance and around the temple.
Krol Ko temple, a Buddhist temple built at the end of the 12th century under the rule of Jayavarman VII and located north of Neak Pean, features the remains of an outer wall that opens to the east, leading to what appears to be a cruciform terrace meeting a gopura and another outer wall enclosure.
