via the Daily Tribune, 23 April 2023: The Church Complex of the Our Lady of Remedies Parish, also known as the Malate Church, has been declared an important cultural property by the National Museum of the Philippines due to its historical and cultural significance.
The Church Complex of the Our Lady of Remedies Parish — also known as the Malate Church — has been recognized as an ‘important cultural property’ by the National Museum of the Philippines, citing its historical and cultural significance as a centuries-old complex existing since the Spanish colonial period.
An unveiling of the marker declaring the church complex’s status was held on Saturday, witnessed by representatives from the parish, the National Museum and Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna.
