via Vietnam Posts English, 18 April 2023: An exhibition at the Hue Citadel celebrates Book and Reading Culture Day this week with a display of various historical documents from the country. More stories linked below.
On April 18, at Tang Tho Lau relic, Hue Monuments Conservation Center – the unit directly managing Hue Monuments Complex held the opening of a series of exhibition activities “Save the history of Hue”. – Discovering Tho Lau” from precious documents under the Nguyen Dynasty in response to the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2023.
The series of activities includes the following contents: Exhibition of Han Nom books (Dai Nam Quang Che; Dai Nam Anh Nha Tien Bien; Hoang Dynasty Ngoc Diep; Tampering with Ancient Civilizations); Hoang Viet Tan Luat; Thuong Tu Huan Dieu; Nam Quoc Giai Tri); Displaying the painting “Grande Tenue de la Cour d’Annam” by Nguyen Van Nhan painted in Hue in December 1902 and documents on costumes of the Nguyen Dynasty; Exhibition of the collection of Nguyen Dynasty diplomas.
