China joins ranks of nations conserving Preah Vihear Temple

via Khmer Times, 22 March 2023: China joins other countries in supporting the conservation of the Preah Vihear Temple in Cambodia, by providing funding and technical expertise.

China has decided to contribute to the restoration and preservation of Preah Vihear Temple.

The National Authority for Preah Vihear said China made known its intent at the meeting of the International Coordinating Committee for Preservation and Promotion of Preah Vihear (ICC Preah Vihear) held its special meeting in Siem Reap province on Monday.

The meeting also discussed the ongoing restoration and conservation efforts at the Temple of Preah Vihear in Kantuot commune, Choam Khsan district and Koh Ker Temple in Srayong commune, Kulen district in Preah Vihear province.
