via Khmer Times, 14 November 2022: Indian Vice-President visits the National Museum of Cambodia.
Indian Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar visited the National Museum of Cambodia (NMC) in Phnom Penh on Saturday and left impressed.
He was awe-stricken that the museum housed numerous statues that reflected Indian culture.
Of particular interest to Jagdeep were the statues of Lord Narayana and Lord Ganesha which were crafted in bronze. He and his wife Sudesh Dhankhar had their photographs taken standing next to the sculptures.
Jagdeep said the museum had numerous artifacts that showed Cambodia’s ancient civilisation and its link with India.
