via Khmer Times, 23 September 2022: Restoration work at Phnom Bok.
The restoration team from the Department of Conservation of Monuments and Preventive Archaeology of the APSARA National Authority is excavating the platform of a large Shiva linga on Phnom Bok to restore the ancient structure, said the authority in a news release this morning.
Currently, the source continued, the team is excavating and researching the structure before proceeding to the restoration plan of this archaeological site.
Mr Hour Sothoun, an archaeologist of the APSARA National Authority, said that the excavation started in early August 2022 and the research project will be completed by the end of September 2022.
