via The Borneo Post, 27 July 2022: Local political makes appeal for the Sibu museum to come under the Sarawak Museum.
The Sibu Cultural Heritage Museum will get proper maintenance if the Sarawak Museum takes over its management, said Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau.
He said the museum here is a tourist attraction where visitors can learn about the history of Sibu in particular and Sarawak in general.
“Eventually, we hope Sarawak Museum will take over the management of Sibu Cultural Heritage Museum.
