via Khmer Times, 30 June 2022: One of the area developed for ecotourism is Phnom Kulen.
The Ministry of Environment will continue to cooperate with ministries, institutions, partner organizations to conserve, as well as participate in the development of tourism areas to boost local tourism and improve the lives of local people.
Khin Meng Kheang, Director of the Department of Ecotourism of the Ministry of Environment, made the statement while speaking at the ceremony to implement the “The Cambodia Sustainable Landscape and Ecotourism Project (CSLET)”.
The Director said that Phnom Kulen National Park is one of the main destinations of among other tourist sites in Siem Reap. This area also has cultural heritage, which is part of the tourist attraction.
