via The Malaysian Reserve, 07 April 2021: Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture prepares guidelines to revitalise museum appreciation and management.
THE Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (Motac) launches the Local Museum Fundamentals and Guidelines through the Museum Department (JMM) to streamline the direction of the museum institution.
Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the fundamental of museums take into consideration all inputs, perspective and suggestions from important parties that are also in line with the standards set by the International Council of Museums.
“The publication of Local Museum Fundamentals and Guidelines is an important document in setting the movement of the museums and will impact the long-term movement of conserving and recovering history, culture and nature of the country.
