via Khmer Times, 15 December 2020: The Apsara Authority erects boundary markers for significant archaeological sites in Siem Reap. Similar action was undertaken by the Ministry of Culture at other parts of the country last month.
Apsara Authorities on Saturday oversaw the erection of eight archaeological protection posts in Siem Reap province, in order to protect the sites and prevent encroachment.
The technical team of Apsara authorities cooperated with Varin district Office of Culture to erect the posts in Srenouy commune.
Long Kosal, Apsara Authority spokesman, said that the eight archaeological sites included O’Prasat, Lumduon Mong, Trapeang Chhouk, Kork Porpul, Trapeang Beng, Trapeang Changhok Kraing Temple, Trapeang Rolum Veng and Trapeang Kump Phneang.
