The Malaysian state of Kelantan is planning to hold an exhibition in June featuring the kris, or Malay dagger, as part of the year’s tourism drive.
Exhibition of 1,000 Kelantan Traditional Weapons in June

An exhibition featuring 1,000 Kelantan traditional weapons to be held at the State Museum in June, will go into the Malaysia Book of Records.
Kelantan State Museum Corporation director, Abdul Rahman Abdullah said the one-week exhibition, organised by the corporation in collaboration with the Kelantan Historical and Ancient Arts Heritage Association (Purba), was expected to draw 10,000 visitors in conjunction with Visit Kelantan Year 2012.
