Vietnamese archaeologists discover stone tools in a cave in North Vietnam. Besides the tools, a good amount of ‘red stone powder’ (ochre?) was found, which is thought to have been used as funerary body ornamentation.
Prehistoric artefacts found in Ha Giang

Ancient artefacts, from a prehistorical culture dating back 4,000 â€“ 7,000 years; have been discovered in a cave in the northern province of Ha Giangâ€™s Bac Me District.
According to Trinh Nang Chung from the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, head of the excavation team, two tombs have been excavated in the Khuoi Nang Cave.
